The Belgian Tervuren is a medium sized dog that got their name from the village of Tervuren in Belgium. This breed is 1 of 4 Belgian herding dogs. Once this breed wasn’t need for herding anymore, they were enlisted in police and military work which is what they still are used for today!

The Belgian Tervuren is a highly trainable breed and is recommended that you do train them. They get very attached to their families so they can be very weary of strangers. This is an affectionate breed who will be very loyal to their owners.
